Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Clarkton, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that all financial operations are carried out in compliance with legal guidelines. You will also be expected to use your expertise in various accounting software systems and ERP Solutions to streamline our financial procedures.

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
  • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Familiarity with ERP Solutions
  • Expertise in Great Plains (GPAC)
  • Understanding of Accounting Functions
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience with Auditing
  • Familiarity with Billing Functions.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services

  • Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
  • Ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Leverage your understanding of accounting software systems and ERP Solutions to improve our financial data management practices
  • Use your expertise in Great Plains (GPAC) to maintain financial records and prepare reports
  • Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities of all or part of an organization
  • Develop internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Conduct or coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and other financial staff, recommending and implementing personnel actions, such as promotions and dismissals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and nonorganizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities.
