Description:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Winter Haven, Florida. This role is central to the operations of our company, with responsibilities encompassing everything from overseeing the accounting team to implementing processes and procedures. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in inventory management, cost accounting, and leading audit processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Implement and refine accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory to ensure accurate records and optimal inventory levels.
- Conduct cost accounting tasks to support financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead audit processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
- Utilize accounting software systems for efficient operations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely transactions.
- Conduct billing functions to ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Ability to perform Accounting Functions
- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Skills in Auditing
- Ability to supervise and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- CPA or CMA preferred.
