Established in 2014, the YLA brand continues to grow their customer base through social media and influencer-based marketing. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP is required; experience in system implementation or optimization is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail accounting is highly desirable..

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain and enhance NetSuite ERP workflows, ensuring optimal utilization of the system.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting in coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain banking relationships as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and accounting best practices.
