Bradken is seeking a dedicated Accounting Project Analyst to drive continuous improvement, R&D, and production projects. This role ensures projects stay on track and within budget by organizing departmental projects, communicating with stakeholders, and meticulously scheduling activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Collegiate in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Additional accounting studies, such as cost and tax courses.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing or mining sector.
  • Intermediate fluency in English (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is also required.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Accounting Project Analyst, in a permanent position, with experience in preparing and monitoring project forecasts and budgets, extensive experience in tax treatment related to importation, exportation, and service provision, as well as conducting regular budget reviews to ensure the project stays within budget. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, tracking cash flow, and forecasting costs. Finally, you will ensure, upon the project’s completion, track and forecast key financial deliverables, including revenue, costs, and margins.
Your role will include working closely with the Project Director to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data. You will need to review and approve supplier invoices related to the project, ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and project contracts. Additionally, you will assist the Director and other project team members in developing financial plans, as well as reconciling financial discrepancies related to the project.
Regarding tax management, as an Accounting Project Analyst, you must ensure that financial transactions are processed in line with tax legislation, collaborate with corporate finance to resolve local tax queries and issues. You must assist the Finance & Administration Manager with monthly (SUNAT) and annual income tax, IGV early recovery, and review it with tax advisor for annual filing. Additionally, you should assist and prepare for asset verification and sighting audit purposes, as well as keeping accounting and tax records updated related to the project (early recoveries).
