The Launch Box is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico, to support the finance and accounting operations for our US and Mexico offices.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Finance & Accounting Fundamentals (2+ years exposure)
• 1+ year experience processing Mexico payroll
• Advanced Excel Skills (Functions, formulas and Pivot Tables)
• Passion for details and perfectionist on data entry
• Innovative and eager on finding and proposing solutions
• Bonus qualifications (nice to haves): USA payroll processing, experience with global teams, experience using Sage Intacct
• Willingness to learn PowerBI

You will contribute to a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

• Prepare journal entries for accounting software, including payroll, operating expenses, and inter-entity transactions
• Lead AP/AR management within Bill.com and work with client founders and Finance leadership to manage cashflow
• Collaboration with HR & Finance teams to ensure proper record keeping for both USA and Mexico payroll.
• Manage preferred equity transactions for Portfolio Companies
• Support Accounting Lead and Director of Finance in timely production of Financial Statements for presentation to PortCo founders
• Daily bank account reconciliation, cash management, and supporting FP&A team on cash forecasting
• Detail oriented data entry and sorting
• Assist with data validation for and development of PowerBI dashboards for reporting financial data
