Description:
We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be tasked with handling the processing and auditing of travel expense management, coding transactions to the General Ledger, managing equipment rental order processing, and providing support for Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner
- Oversee the auditing and processing of travel expense reports using Concur
- Handle the coding of transactions to the General Ledger, particularly during month-end
- Manage equipment rental order processing, invoicing, and billing tasks
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable team as needed
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate action when necessary
- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and manage data
- Ensure the proper management of expense management tasks.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Billing, and Invoice Processing.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Concur and Expense Management systems a requirement.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, respecting confidentiality of financial data.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Open to continuous learning and development opportunities.
