Your Role
We are looking for a brilliant and passionate Invoicing Accounting Specialist to join our Finance Team in Dubai, Jumeirah.
In this role, you will ensure the preparation of relevant accounting statements, analysis reports in accordance with national laws and regulations, auditing standards and accounting theory. Moreover, you will be involved in our international ERP process continuous improvement and international IT rollout.
The job is based in the office 5 days/week.
Your Impact
- Coordinate and allocate both Italian and international collections to the appropriate customer accounts.
- Effectively manage the active schedule to issue reminder letters in a timely manner.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts with accuracy.
- Record accruals, deferrals, and invoices/credit notes to be issued promptly and accurately.
- Handle foreign exchange differences in compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile receipts with payments made via credit cards and FinTech services.
- Submit and reconcile items subject to collection processes.
- Manage the submission, allocation, and reconciliation of direct debits.
- Ensure proper accounting for promotional items and free gifts.
- Oversee debt collection activities and litigation cases.
- Perform cash reconciliation for stores and other relevant entities.
- Ensure timely provision of monthly financial data for management reporting.
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.
What you should bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Economics
- 3-5 years’ experience in an Accounting Department Office
- Experience in financial solutions management
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Fluency English (Arabic is a big plus)
