Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for accounting functions for the entire Group
  • ReviewGL, AR & AP transactions
  • Review Corporate/Trust bank transactions and trust reconciliation
  • Prepare Group consolidated reports
  • Prepare and/or review management & analytical reports
  • Responsible for all sales tax and corporate tax matters
  • Lead external audit process and statutory compliance
  • Assist with annual budgets
  • Provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job training to upscale team capabilities,skillsand knowledge.
  • Automate processes

Requirements

  • 5+yearsof professional experience, and a minimum of3+years’ experience in a similar role (banking and/or payments experience considered favorably)
  • Degree qualified or completion of CMA,CPAor CA
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel,PowerPoint, Word), familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely desirable
  • Experienced and motivated working in fast-paced,high-energyenvironments with specific experience in multi-national businesses
  • Experience in Oracle Financials (preferred) or other management accounting software
  • A “hands on” approach and result oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good leadership skills
