Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Accounts/Admin Coordinator to join our dynamic startup team. This role requires an individual who possesses strong expertise in both accounting and administration. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience in the construction industry and a solid understanding of the specific needs of construction companies operating in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Track job costing and work-in-progress for construction projects (if applicable).
Administration:
Oversee office administration functions such as managing office supplies, records, and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of reports, contracts, and other company documents.
Manage correspondence and maintain communication between teams, clients, and vendors.
Assist in human resources tasks such as employee onboarding and compliance documentation.
Construction Industry Experience (Preferred):
Understanding of construction project financials, such as cost allocation, project invoicing, and tracking expenses.
Ability to manage contract administration, including vendor agreements, project timelines, and performance monitoring.
Requirements:
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a construction company in the UAE.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
