The role
Execute Financial accounting and tax reporting processes for entities assigned Kindred companies. Responsible for ensuring role performed with accuracy and compliance in a time bound manner.

Post invoices and check that accounting is correct

  • Check POs
  • Approve and check supplier payments in bank
  • Responsible for the monthly accounting including calculation and posting journals e.g. accruals, prepayments and depreciations
  • Support preparation of month end P&L and Balance Sheet reports at a trial balance level and explain reconciliation variances
  • Prepare bank and expenses journals
  • Reconciliations of B/S accounts
  • Prepare for and submission of VAT
  • Liquidity request
  • Prepare documentation required and answer questions from the auditors
  • Maintain team guidelines to ensure always up to date and factor in any changes in process
  • Identify potential improvements in current processes to increase efficiency and maintain accuracy
  • Support the local Assistant Financial Controller and Financial Controller with Group related projects and Internal Control follow ups e.g. Oracle ERP implementation
  • Support with ad hoc requests using Excel reports.
