DESCRIPTION

You will play a pivotal role in handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for individuals and companies. From managing VAT returns to providing exceptional customer service, you will be at the forefront of supporting our clients and ensuring their financial success.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role within an accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of VAT returns and experience preparing accounts up to review point.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience with accounting software like Xero or Sage is desirable.
A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for delivering accurate work.
Good communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
AAT qualification is a plus, but not essential – experience and practical knowledge are key.
Proficiency in Excel and a willingness to adapt to new technology.

Responsibilities:

Represent Xeinadin to clients, ensuring all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks are delivered with a focus on innovation and future-facing solutions.
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial records.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, aligning with both client expectations and internal quality benchmarks.
Prepare VAT returns and ensure they are submitted accurately and on time.
Communicate and liaise effectively with external clients, both verbally and in writing, to deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships.
Prepare accounts up to the review stage, providing clients with financial clarity and helping ensure their success.
Implement and support clients with Xero and other accounting software to improve financial processes.
Participate in teamwork and internal activities aimed at enhancing business standards for both Xeinadin and our clients.
Attend training and professional development courses to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, ensuring compliance with CPD requirements.
