REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in costing and accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC365 will have an added advantage
Strong numerical and data analysis capabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, good spoken and written communication skills, necessary for effective interaction with integral and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment

Cost Analysis and Maintenance: Collect and analyze data to compute accurate cost per unit for new products. Maintain up-to-date product costs for active SKUs to support pricing decisions
Reporting and Profitability Analysis: Update cost summary reports in the shared folder, analyze price changes and assess product profitability
Bill of Materials (BOM) Setup: Develop and maintain BOMs based on data from R&D, production and purchasing departments
Planning and Cost Control: Provide planning and cost-controlling support, including analysis of production variances
Inventory Management: Coordinate month-end, mid-year and year-end stock-takes. Investigate stock variances, update stock adjustments in NAV and report variances to Finance department
Cost Reduction and Profit Improvement: Provide recommendations on reducing product costs and improving profit margins, such as sourcing cheaper raw materials without compromising quality and optimizing labor use
Stakeholder Support: Provide comprehensive support to internal customers. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure corrective measures are implemented for accurate costing and assist sales channels in achieving budgeted revenue targets
Compliance: Ensure adherence to costing SOP
Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior
