ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Billing and Licensing Specialist to join our Finance team in Grafton, Auckland. This role involves overseeing the billing and licensing functions for New Zealand and Australia. If you have a passion for finance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience
  • MS Office product suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent Communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to relay information clearly and concisely.
  • High level ability working with numeric information and data.
  • Effective time management skills: ability to work to tight deadlines’ feels comfortable about seeking assistance and advice when required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • High energy levels and prepared to put in the extra effort to get the job done.
  • Acts professionally in all dealings within and outside of the Finance Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process NZ and Australia orders – Issue licenses and process invoices
  • Process NEC bulk orders for Australia– Issue licenses and process invoices
  • Recognition and reconciliation for sales revenue for NZ and Australia
  • Australian maintenance renewal invoicing
  • Process monthly usage and subscription invoices
  • Manage accrual and invoicing for NECare support contracts
  • Maintain and update SW, SaaS, PS and CS Trackers
  • Setup new GL accounts for new products in GP
  • Setup new product items in Ten soft/GP
  • Process month end general ledger reconciliations, including revenue reconciliation and maintenance revenue reconciliation for New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
  • Provide support and assistance at month end for the rest of the Finance Team as directed by the Finance Manager.
  • Assist in entering the Supplier Invoice into the Accounting software.
  • Balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with preparation of audit file.
  • Provide information to auditors in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for ensuring Ten soft and Licensing databases are accurate and up to date for New Zealand and Australia.
  • Meet deadlines as set by Finance Manager, particularly important is the need to meet end of month deadlines.
  • Take a proactive approach to Finance Team process improvement.
  • Maintaining of the Accounts Receivable work in relation to billing and licensing.
