Responsibilities
Check and verify the daily sales reports of retail outlets and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and ensure that all transactions are accurately accounted for
Monitor prepayments and monthly accruals and prepare related entries
Prepare reclassification entries related to payroll and staff meal
Check and post retail stock take entries and reclassification and investigate any material variances
Prepare and submit monthly Gross Turnover Reports (GTO) for all outlets
Assist in submission of customer invoices and follow up on discrepancies
Assist in clearing outlets outstanding advanced orders and issue credit note if needed
Prepare various sales reports and assist with month-end closing
Assist on cash card top up and prepare related entries
Assist during physical stock counts and annual external audit
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements
At least LCCI in Accounting or equivalent
Candidates who have experience in handling high volume of accounting transactions will have an added advantage
Able to work under tight deadlines
Knowledge in MS Excel is essential
Meticulous and organized
