Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as an Finance Assistant. As an integral part of our finance department, you will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes within the hotel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable but not required.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and precision in all tasks, with strong attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures as needed.
- Integrity: Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling financial information.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist in managing payments and receipts.
- Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Accurately input financial data into accounting software, maintain records, and assist in preparing financial statements.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and reconcile expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in Budgeting: Support the accounting team in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures against budgets.
- Assist with Audits: Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
- General Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the finance department as required, including filing, scanning, and responding to inquiries.
