Description:
ECS are a privately owned Freight forwarding and Haulage company, who are rapidly growing. We are looking for someone to join our Account department. The ideal candidate should have experience in maintaining a database of financial information, be able to recognise and solve any problems that may arise and be able to work to a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong experience in accounting or related field
· Confident in using SAGE 50 Accounting Software - this is a must!
· Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable & Accounts Reciable processing
· Strong organisational, analytical and fast learner
· Detail-oriented
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Responsibilities:
· Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
· Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorised invoices and expenses
· Sending statements to customers and dealing with any customer query
