Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AND WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Working as an Accounts Helpdesk Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting our internal clients and processing transactions in line with documented procedures and to agreed SLA’s, ensuring that transactions are compliant with Irwin Mitchell’s policy and the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Taking Credit Card payments from clients over the telephone and posting them to our Financial Management system, 3e.
  • Checking that cheques are banked within two days and highlighting where breaches are occurring.
  • Sorting post and scanning to departments
  • Obtaining signatures on the cheque report
  • Understanding the roles of colleagues in all areas of Financial Operations, recognising the end-to-end processing of transactions to be able to work flexibly and deal with, or refer queries in a timely manner.
  • Processing transactions relating to legal matters as requested by case handlers.
  • Use judgement to escalate any issues appropriately to the Team Leader.
