Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative, communicates well, is friendly and professional and able to work well within the team. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Accounts and Administration department and will report directly to the Accountant and the Directors.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Microsoft office skills (essential)
- Accounting experience within Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger (essential)
- Experience of Xero online accounting software (preferred)
- Accounting experience of CIS Scheme and Payroll (preferred)
- Experience of Construction Industry accounting systems (preferred)
- Experience of Health & Safety systems, Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Main reception duties such as answering telephone calls and greeting visitors.
- Purchase Ledger - Daily input of Purchase invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, process expenses and receipts.
- Weekly Wages - Weekly input of wages information for approximately 100 operatives.
- Assisting with Health & Safety & HR Systems and records.
- Any other adhoc duties required to assist the Managers & Directors on a daily basis.
- General admin duties as they arise.
The company has grown substantially in recent years, therefore this role is currently being developed. This will be an interesting and varied role within a forward thinking company, looking to expand further with the right team to support the business. Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role but prior experience will be valuable in developing your role.
