ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join our busy Seven Hills based team. The role’s key tasks are to provide finance, administrative and office support relating to records management, data entry, timesheet processing, accounts/invoices, purchasing, and procurement assistance for the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing of invoices
  • Coordinate, track and analyse the purchasing of goods
  • Compose status reports relevant to the project’s operations
  • Process payroll timesheets and expense claims for workforces
  • Reconcile staff timesheets and leave reports
  • Process monthly on-charges to other projects related to wages timesheets and light vehicle usages, including raising revenue invoices and posting recharging journals
  • Prepare month-end accruals when required
  • Communicate and liaise with the client, external vendors, subcontractors and community stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Provide finance and administrative support to the Finance Manager, Project Engineers and broader team as required
  • Provide basic support to colleagues on John Holland systems and programs
  • Take care of the office workspace, mail and office equipment
