Job Description
An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join Verisk’s Finance team in Krakow.

In this position you will be:

• Handling Accounts Payable for various entities
• Managing Accounts Payable using Basware and Peoplesoft Software
• Ensuring invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as manual entries and account maintenance
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Assisting internal and external customers
• Assist in various projects related to year-end and auditing
• Reviewing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment
• Ability to run and analyze reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in accounting or related experience working in Accounts Payable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Detail oriented and meticulous
• Excellent teamwork and diplomacy skills
• Data entry skills
• Supplier review and creation
• Invoice review and processing
• Invoice and payment search
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Oracle Clud would be a strong asset
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model as a full-time employee in the Cracow office located in the city center
