EDUCATION:

  • DEC in accounting;

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience;

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in handling files;
  • Respect tight deadlines;
  • Be meticulous yet quick to execute;
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service;
  • Able to work alone or in a group;
  • Proficiency in Office suite, particularly Excel.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, as part of the Shared Accounting Services team, the Accounts Payable Analyst supports the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and issuing payments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Reconcile data/purchases recorded at points of sale, versus statements received from suppliers
  • Enter invoices into the computer system;
  • Issue payment lists;
  • Analyze various accounts;
  • Respond to requests from internal managers and suppliers;
  • Any other related task.
