THIS POSITION WILL BE A 10 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT WORKING 22.5 HOURS PER WEEK

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our finance team at the Retail Support Centre in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate supplier accounts, processing transactions, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and credits accurately into the Navision accounting system.
- Compare accounts with supplier statements/lists to identify and rectify omissions or discrepancies.
- Detect and address invoice queries promptly to ensure seamless operations.
- Allocate and confirm supplier Direct Debits, generate remittance advices, and ensure timely payment allocations.
- Check stock levels and history for stores and warehouses, addressing any issues identified.
- Create and manage lists of missing bookings and ensure store compliance.
- Liaise with stores via phone or email to resolve queries efficiently.
- Allocate manual payments and process proforma invoices.
- Address and resolve EDI invoice errors.
- Open mail bags from stores, ensuring all relevant paperwork is received and processed.
- Reconcile store receipts against sales on Navision, highlighting any discrepancies.
- Perform filing, shredding, archiving of records, and other general administrative duties.
- Undertake any additional tasks as required to support the finance department.
