iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Associate who wants to be part of or Finance Team to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.
All our roles can be performed remotely with occasional visits to the office as requested by your manager. Where we have office locations, our team members are welcome to work remotely, on a hybrid basis or fully office based as they wish.
Role Overview
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! This role requires acting as a key stakeholder to maintain strong relationships with vendors and business partners and ensuring that queries are resolved and communicated within a reasonable timeframe.
Key objectives of the role
The successful candidate requires minimum 1 years of Accounts Payable experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following areas:
- Reviewing and processing supplier invoices timely and accurately
- Raising multi-currency supplier payments
- Reconciling internal records to vendor statements
- Managing the query process and ensuring supplier disputes are raised and communicated within reasonable timeframes
- Acting as a key stakeholder in maintaining strong relationships with vendors / business partners
- Weekly reporting and analysis of aged supplier positions and assisting with currency cash forecasting
- Continuing to improve the supplier/payment process
- Assisting with other ad hoc tasks within the Finance Department where necessary
What are we looking for in you?
- A solid understanding of Accounts Payable processing with the ability to take ownership of this function in a growing, international SME
- High attention to detail, experienced in working to targets and set deadlines within agreed timescales (essential)
- Strong organizational, forward planning and time management skills (essential)
- Good communication skills (essential)
- A methodical and disciplined approach to work (essential)
- A positive, willing and friendly attitude (essential)
- An embracive and adaptive attitude to change (essential)
- The ability to work as a team (essential)
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (desired)
- 1 year + of Accounts Payable experience is desired but not essential for the right candidate
