Description:

We are a well-established property management company in Burnaby, BC, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and strata properties and are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, ensuring accuracy, coding, and timely payment
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions
  • Process weekly cheque runs and electronic payments
  • Communicate with vendors, property managers, and internal teams regarding invoice approvals and payment status
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or accounting, preferably in property management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Infotracker) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with strata or rental property accounting is an asset
  • Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
