Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the Finance department with routine and non-routine duties focused on reviewing and verifying vendor invoices, coding and processing employee travel and expense credit card charges, processing payments, reconciling invoices and record keeping.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred
EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
- 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytic abilities

- Ability to work a full-time schedule and have regular attendance at the workplace
- All other work-related duties as assigned
- Work in the NY office at least 1 day a week (Thursday required)
Responsibilities:
- Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
- Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Audit and process credit card bills
- Address and respond to vendor inquiries
