Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk professional.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for various accounting duties.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree in accounting or a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; a Bachelor’s Degree or higher is an asset
  • 2-3 years’ bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct is an asset
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excels as part of a team with high attention to detail and precise operating methodolog

Responsibilities:

  • Entry and coding high volume of invoices
  • Responding to vendor inquiries
  • Managing AP email account
  • Payment and processing of online and credit card transactions
  • Verify vendors’ statements and solve problems where past due invoices appear on the statement
  • Review, verify, and enter employee expense and corporate credit card reports
  • Assisting with pay run
  • Assisting with month-end AP accruals
  • Providing audit support
  • Providing reports and analysis as required
  • Ongoing accounting support; and other duties as required
