Details: Full Time, Days, 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Scale: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Location: Central Services, 14220 – 109 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 4B3
Typical Duties: The Accounts Payable Clerk (APC) is responsible for scanning and coding invoices, printing cheques, EFT payments, filing, vendor account reconciliation, responding to site and vendor inquiries, as well as any concerns regarding payables, updating databases, electronic filing, supporting the finance department as needed and other site-specific duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERENCES:

  • Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal
  • Minimum of two years of Accounts Payable experience
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping is preferred
  • Experience with using Yardi or other real estate Accounting Software is an asset
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated aptitude for numbers and accounting principles.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond calmly to stressful situations
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
