JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Understanding of US GAAP and accrual basis accounting.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written).
  • Timely and accurate task completion.
  • Flexibility and prioritization skills, ability to manage workload and participate in various projects or group initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and conducting business professionally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business with multiple stores, a warehouse, and e-commerce sites.
    Full-Time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-site work located in Robinson Township, PA at our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center.

Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk who will support various accounting functions and assist in day-to-day financial activities, contributing to the overall success of the accounting department and the company. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Match invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders, process vendor invoices, verify deliveries, and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain communication with vendors and service providers.
  • Manage obtaining W-9s and assist with 1099 year-end filing.
  • Work with Inventory/Warehouse personnel on inventory reconciliation.
  • Manage credit card activity, update expenditures, and file receipts.
  • Collaborate with departments for accurate processing of invoices and credit card expenses.
  • Provide support to Accounting Team for month-end closes.
  • Cross train and learn accounts receivable processes.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Assistant and contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
