Description:
The Accounts Payable position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, compiling, processing, and maintaining accounts payable records. The role will sit in the Kemah location. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, ensuring that invoices are accurate and paid on time.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of the accounting implications related to accounts payable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Detail-oriented and a willingness to ask questions when variances are identified.
- Excellent organization skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree in Accounting preferred, high school diploma required
- Minimum two (2) years’ prior work experience
