Description:
OVERVIEW
Wigwamen Incorporated is seeking an experienced “Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk”.
The successful candidate will work 2 days (14 hours) a week at Head Office (23 Lesmill Road, Suite #106, Toronto) and will report directly to the Financial Controller.
SKILLS
- Education: College degree concentrating in accounting, business, finance, or similar field
- Experience: Over 5 years of experience in accounts payable
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of NewViews an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding.
- Prepare cheques, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Prepare entries for all intercompany payments.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and follow up on outstanding invoices with contractors\suppliers.
- Respond to staff inquiries on invoices and payments.
- Provide listing of invoices to consultants on construction projects.
- Prepare accounts payable year-end accruals.
- Prepare billings to funders.
- Process cash postings.
- Other duties as assigned.
