The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable team in all aspects including data entry, gathering of supporting documentation (in digital format), running daily reports, cutting checks, and payment initiation. The position will report to the Accounting Manager, and s/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Cut and mail weekly checks.
- Make weekly online bill payments.
- Make deposits and record in ERP system.
- Pull utility online invoices.
- Review vendor statements.
- Sort/save accounting email to appropriate folder(s).
- Run Daily Reports.
- Assist Accounts Payable Specialist with coding, entering, and matching purchase ledger invoices to purchase orders.
- 3-way matching of invoices.
- Maintain Monthly Overhead Spreadsheet.
- Maintenance of Accounts Payable Filing.
- Record debit and credit memos.
- Perform, review, and manage the entire accounts payable process.
- Work cohesively with the wider finance team to make sure accounts payable processes are followed accurately.
- Interact across divisions, with upper-level management and with vendors.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.
