Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be tasked with managing accounts payable information, conducting account reconciliations, and ensuring the accurate processing of invoices. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer credit applications with attention to detail
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Manage accounts payable information and transactions
- Perform routine check runs to ensure timely payments
- Code invoices accurately to ensure proper accounting
- Carry out data entry tasks related to accounts payable
- Process invoices effectively and efficiently
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Ariba for various accounting tasks
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices
- Strong data entry skills
- Proficiency in Invoice Processing
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience with SAP
- Familiarity with Ariba
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Adaptability and capability to learn new processes quickly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
