Description:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Service industry, based in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves maintaining and processing customer credit applications, keeping accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing
  • Regularly perform account reconciliation tasks
  • Conduct check runs and coding invoices as needed
  • Utilize Google Suite for various tasks
  • Maintain high levels of organization in all aspects of the role

This is a permanent position that will pay up to $55,000 depending upon experience. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested!

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Experience in performing Check Runs and Coding Invoices.
  • Proven skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to continuously improve and update knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities for problem-solving and decision-making.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
