Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Somerset County. The selected candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities centered around managing and processing accounts payable.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy in all transactions
- Handle the entry of wire transfers in a timely manner
- Proactively resolve vendor discrepancies and issues through email communication
- Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements
- Process expense reports with keen attention to detail
- Execute weekly check runs for the organization
- Undertake ad hoc assignments as needed to support the finance department
- Utilize NetSuite software for various tasks (training will be provided)
- Maintain high productivity by meeting daily invoice processing targets
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize data and track accounts payable activities.
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and processes
- Experience in invoice entry and processing, specifically vendor invoices
- Ability to handle invoice discrepancies as well as account discrepancies
- Proficient in using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks
- Skilled in processing expense reports and conducting wire transfers
- Ability to provide ad hoc support when required
- Capability to code invoices accurately and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the semi-conductors and electric component manufacturing industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
