POSITION SUMMARY

We are searching for an organized and motivated individual for our Accounts Payable department. You will be responsible for general accounts payable tasks including posting invoices and participating in bi-weekly payment runs. In this role, the ability to organize and prioritize tasks is crucial. Our AP Clerks receive information and requests from several different sources. The ability to organize this information to ensure that your work is completed on a daily basis is key.
You will report to the Account Payable Team Lead work alongside 5 other members of our AP team. This role is temporary full time 40 hours a week for 3 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Cansel operations department to obtain approvals and resolve account issues
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment remittances, invoice copies, and credit follow-ups
  • Process a high volume of PO and non-PO related invoices in a timely & accurate manner
  • Work with other team members to manage central AP inbox, complete bi-weekly payment runs and other office duties such as mail and filing.
  • be required to be at the Burnabv office bi-weekly for payment runs with the team.
