Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Assist the Subcontract and Purchase Ledger Accounts payable teams to process applications, invoices and payments to ensure subcontractors and suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure applications and invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Record subcontract applications and allocate to relevant authorisers
  • Follow-up with authorisers to ensure processing timelines are observed and payments deadlines are achieved.
  • Raise certificates within prescribed company deadlines
  • Assist in processing 4-weekly subcontract payment runs
  • Attend to supplier queries and direct queries to relevant authorisers where necessary
  • Assist with monthly subcontractor statement reconciliations
  • Ensure payment log file is kept up to date (EXCEL)
  • Ensure proactive management of any purchase orders requiring uplift
  • Provide administrative support where required
  • Any other tasks / responsibilities assigned by the Manager
