Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for processing, validation, reconciliations, and issuing of payments. The incumbent must perform all accounting duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, validate, obtain approval, process and post accounts payable invoices for payment
Process all forms of payments (including wire payments, online bill payments, fuel fund transfers and purchasing of US funds)
Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
File returns and pay various Canadian, US, Territorial and Provincial taxes
Provide information and complete tasks as requested by auditors for annual Audits
Complete credit applications
