Description:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Darra on a full-time permanent basis. This centralised function ensures the prompt and accurate payment of all Cement Australia invoices in accordance with various payment terms and business processes. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you working within a small dynamic team of three.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Having a proactive approach to ensure all invoices are efficiently and accurately processed.
  • Paying all designated accounts in accordance with CA payment terms and business processes and practices.
  • Minimising unprocessed invoices that are due for payment.
  • Assisting with payment of international payments when required.
  • Liaising with suppliers on any invoicing queries, payment timing and discrepancies.
  • Reconciling of statements.
  • Cash flow forecasting.
  • Proactively working with sites to make sure the P2P process is used effectively and followed.
