A well-known property company with an excellent brand and strong internal culture are looking for an accounts payable officer to join them on permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and to work with a manager who really values her team. This opportunity is to begin immediately but candidates on notice will also be considered.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- End to End Accounts payable functions
- Management of the AP inbox & saving electronic copies of the invoices;
- Day to day management of the Accounts Payable process;
- Dealing with AP queries;
- Obtaining relevant authorisations for payments;
- Preparation of the payment run;
- Account / statement reconciliations;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Credit card reconciliations;
- Expenses;
- Complete monthly reconciliations of creditor statements to payable’s ledger;
- Complete monthly reconciliations of credit card statements;
- Develop and maintain good relationships with internal/external clients;
To be considered for the role you must be highly organised, detail oriented, and have the capability to complete the above tasks promptly but accurately. You have strong communication, customer service and social skills, especially with contacts from both technical and financial backgrounds.
You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years in an end-to-end AP capacity and be competent with Excel. Experience using pivot tables & v-look ups is essential.
You will have strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of suppliers.
