Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experience Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy, highly collaborative Finance Team, located opposite Bondi Junction train station.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of accounts payable;
- Experience with MYOB Advanced;
- Accurate and efficient invoice processing and payment services;
- Resolution of issues relating to invoices to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Processing suppliers’ invoices;
- Processing of weekly/fortnightly payment runs;
- Ad hoc activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident account’s person with number of years’ experience. You will be exposed to all aspects of accounting and have an opportunity to increase your skills to further your career.
This Full Time position is Monday to Friday, 09.00-17.00. There may be some flexibility on the daily hours for the right candidate.
Desired Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Qualifications in Accounting;
- 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position;
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures;
- Knowledge of accounting software;
- Experience with MYOB Advanced;
- Experience in process documentation;
- Experience working with a client management system;
- Intermediate to Advanced level of computer skills, Excel in particular;
- Strong time management and excellent customer service skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Able to work both autonomously and be part of a team ;
Highly Desirable :
- Experience in implementing new systems.
- Experience in an NFP organisation.
- Knowledge, sensitivity and an understanding of Jewish values, heritage and culture.
This position calls for your advanced Excel skills and knowledge of accounting processes.
