Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. The role will involve managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Cash Activity. The specialist will be expected to handle various tasks such as preparing Aging Reports, posting payments, and overseeing B2B collections.

FULL-JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications in line with company policies
• Accurately maintain customer credit records to ensure up-to-date information
• Resolve any customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Regularly prepare and analyze Aging Reports to track due payments
• Post payments to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner
• Handle B2B collections in a professional manner
• Utilize Excel and the internal ERP system daily
• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Contract, possible contract to hire

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as an Accounts Payable or Receivables or general accounting
• Experience with Collections - Commercial and B2B collections
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
