Description:
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE REPRESENTATIVE II
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable Representative II to join our Finance team in Costa Rica. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations and delivering service to both our internal and external partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in accounting/finance.
- Experience in Shared Service Centers.
- English proficiency level B1+.
- Word, Power Point, Outlook - Basic+ Excel.
- Experience with at least one ERP system (Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, and/or Mainframe).
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional “back office” support to internal clients and analysts, including processing documents, creating follow-up requests for document inquiries, directing cases to the appropriate department or individual for resolution, retrieving documentation for internal client requests, and informing the leadership team about any significant issues that arise.
- Support quality control efforts by conducting thorough reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Successfully complete assigned tasks and priorities by using company policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, colleagues, internal clients, and others involved in the process to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Determine and suggest ways to address areas for improvement and adapt and learn from changes, challenges, and feedback.
- Maintain engagement and communication through email with internal clients involved in the processes.
- Provide support and fulfill any other requests as needed by the company.
