KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced English skills B2 (written and spoken)
  • Previous experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model is desirable
  • At least 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting/Record-to-Report and Accounts Payable area.
  • Good knowledge of accounting, GAAP, corporate practices; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  • University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance or Economics as beneficial
  • Proactive and engaged attitude;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
  • Continuous improvement mindset and process orientation and a solution orientated work approach

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in timely and accurate manner Accounts Payable activities, including processing of invoices, reports and cross check validations.
  • Ensure that AP invoices information was uploaded into the respective systems.
  • Lead month closing related activities by assuring all appropriate information is entered into system
  • Perform period and year end closing operations on a timely and accurate basis
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of reports and accounts
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external purposes
  • Respond to questions from relevant entities regarding general accounting matters
  • Responsible for independent processing of standard accounting transactions and clarification of operational issues
  • Completion of internal controls and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries and reasonableness of balance sheet positions
  • Comply with accounting standards, policies and procedures
  • Understand, monitor and take proper action regarding KPIs
  • Update and creation of documentation
