The Role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-performing international accounting team. As we continue to grow and expand globally, we understand that hiring the right people and treating them well is key to our success! We are a multi-national company with locations in 18 countries, with each location contributing to Proofpoint’s amazing culture. This individual will be an integral part of the wider accounting team with focus in European countries. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand.

  • Process AP Invoices for multiple entities in various currencies accurately & in a timely manner (Non-PO, 2-way PO and 3-way PO)
  • Cross train with the expense and travel team.
  • Managing multiple email mailboxes
  • Managing AP Queries Assist with Month End and Quarter End Close activities.
  • Any ad hoc tasks as required by management.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders & vendors via email and phone Posting weekly EFT and Wire payments.

What we are looking for:

  • Business or accounting certificate/diploma or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP
  • Working knowledge of banking payment software
  • Awareness of travel & expense software tools, Chromeriver & Navan an advantage
  • Good attention to detail
  • Customer focused
  • Works well on own initiative and as part of a global team across multiple locations
  • Focus on continuous process improvement
