Description:

A growing company in the entertainment industry based Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an AP Specialist to join their team! This role is integral to our team, as you will be responsible for handling and organizing financial statements, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise records of customer credit
  • Manage customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required
  • Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and management
  • Perform audits to ensure financial compliance
  • Conduct accounts payable functions and accrual accounting tasks
  • Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for planning and management
  • Implement Concur for travel and expense management
  • Handle Account Coding and Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.
  • Proficiency in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting
  • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems and Automated Clearing House (ACH)
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services and Concur
  • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Strong auditing skills
  • Ability to handle high volume of invoices and manage payments effectively
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
