We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role is a crucial part of our team, focusing on managing customer accounts and processing applications with precision and efficiency.

• Handle the full cycle of accounts payable efficiently
• Utilize various accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for accurate record-keeping
• Implement account coding techniques for better organization and easy retrieval of information
• Perform audit checks regularly to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting tasks, ensuring timely processing of payments
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Use Automated Clearing House (ACH) for the electronic transfer of funds
• Perform various accounting functions as required
• Maintain accurate customer credit records in line with company standards.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in account coding is required.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems is necessary.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is important.
• Ability to perform various accounting functions is mandatory.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is needed.
• Understanding of accrual accounting is essential.
• Experience in auditing is crucial.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is important.
