Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The selected candidate will be working in a dynamic environment, responsible for various accounting functions, predominantly focusing on Accounts Payable (AP).

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to accurately process transactions
• Regularly update and maintain accurate customer credit records
• Proficiently utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Accurately process payments and manage vendor relationships
• Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Conduct check processing and data entry tasks in a timely manner
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks swiftly and accurately
• Experience in Processing Payments
• Knowledge of Vendor Management strategies and best practices
