Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves overseeing the operations of the accounts payable department and leading a team to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. This position also requires expertise in Workday to drive efficiencies and support the implementation of new processes and systems.

• Provide leadership to the accounts payable team, including guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing, expense report approvals, and payment disbursements.
• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including vendor management and reconciliation of accounts.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Utilize Workday to maintain and update vendor information, process transactions, and generate reports.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective use of the system.
• Develop and implement best practices and policies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.
• Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to senior management.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required.
• Familiarity with Concur, Workday, and Workday Financial Management is a must.
• Demonstrable experience in data processing and accounting functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting.
• Experience with auditing procedures and Automated Clearing House (ACH).
• Knowledge of account coding techniques is essential.
• Experience with Workday Payroll system is preferred.
