Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are inviting applications for the role of Accounts Payable Supervisor based in Memphis, Tennessee. The successful candidate will be a core part of our team, managing the processing of customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. This role is also responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintenance of precise customer credit records.
• Responsible for the management of accounting functions, including accounts payable.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
• Use accounting software systems to streamline and improve processes.
• Manage the process of 3-way matching in the accounts payable process.
• Handle the processing of expense reports and ensure all expenses are properly accounted for.
• Utilize the automated clearing house (ACH) for financial transactions.
• Manage account coding tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Use tools such as Concur and ADP - Financial Services for data processing and expense management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or similar role
• Proficient in account coding and accounting functions
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred
• Understanding of Concur and Cargowise software
• Proficient in data processing
• Demonstrated experience in accounts payable (AP)
• Knowledge of accrual accounting is a must
• Solid background in auditing and automated clearing house (ACH)
• Ability to complete, prepare, and process expense reports
• Familiarity with expense account, expense management, and expense reconciliation
• Experience with expense reimbursements and travel expense
• Understanding of 3-way matching in accounts payable
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability.
