Description:

Job Summary: Kiwa UK is looking for a Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our innovative Finance Team. In this role you will provide support to the AP team, ensuring compliance with all accounts receivable activities, including accurate posting, VAT compliance, sound working capital management and and Capex management. This role can be based at either our Cheltenham or Aylesbury Office with hybrid working. Kiwa, is a global top 20 leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification. About the role:

  • Oversee the AP Team, ensuring a faultless level of governance and stakeholder customer service
  • Act as an escalation point for any supplier or team clarifications
  • Approve journals produced by the AP Team
  • Deputise for the Accounts Receivables Team Leader as required
  • Complete weekly accounts payables reports for distribution to the Transaction Services Manager and Group Financial Controller
  • Reconcile accounts payables balances at month end
  • Process F/X revaluations for AP balances at month-end
  • Support prepayments and accruals adjustments as required
  • Support monthly intercompany accounts payables confirmations
  • Minimise unallocated cash balances and ensure all entries are resolved within 30 days of receipt
  • Support capex activities, including approval forms, depreciation posting and running the impairment review process
  • Oversee the admin process for credit cards and expenses acting as first-line support
  • Support the delivery of internal and external audit documentation (such as invoice copies, proof of customer payment etc.)
  • Inspire a high-performing team to deliver outstanding results
  • Bring a dynamic, driven and motivated approach to the company and support the introduction of changes in culture required to maintain Kiwa at the leading edge of our field
